Our motto is that when we know better we do better (as Maya Angelou says).

From conception, it's been our mission to sift through the hype for you and do the research to determine what's best for our products, their efficacy and safety... ultimately, we want to feel good about what we put out in the world.. and want what's best for you and the environment.

As an example, we've eliminated 90% of our boxes over the last few years.

We also work hard to create formulas that are safer to use on sensitive or compromised skin, but that still have real value when it comes to helping you restore your skin.

We love natural products, but natural doesn't always mean safer or that they yield better results. 

Although we aim to use as many natural an organic ingredients as possible in our makeup line, we will always continue to work and serve you better as we gain more knowledge, resources and sustainable options.

If our products contain safe synthetics, we make sure they are EU-compliant. That means that we adhere to stricter standards than what's minimally required in the US. 

The EU has banned over 1,300 formulas. To put it simply, when we create makeup products, we adhere to the same standards, if not more.

All of our skincare products are made with natural and organic ingredients, and with the minimal amount of preservatives needed to protect you from bacteria and to extend their shelf-life to at least a year. 

All of our skincare products are paraben-free, phthalate-free and fragrance free (unless requested, we do have phthalate-free and essential oil blend options for our scrubs). 

All of our beauty products are cruelty free with 95% of them being vegan. We currently use beeswax in our chapstick.
