Like you, I'm not a famous actor who slaps their name on a product and sells it. 

I'm just a small-town girl with big dreams and hard working parents who told me that if I work hard enough, anything's possible --  and I believed them.

I'd been freelancing as a makeup artist for several years before I began creating beauty products in my own kitchen. 

Back then, I was searching for more 'natural options' (in other words, products with labels I could actually read) and couldn't find any. 

So, I purchased a book on Amazon (when they only sold books!) for under $20, saved up my money, and went to a local Austin store called The Herb Bar with $200 to spend on raw ingredients.

I rolled up my sleeves and taught myself how to make natural skincare products in my kitchen using a makeshift double boiler. 

I enjoyed crafting whipped body butters, face creams, and lip balms and eagerly gave them to anyone willing to try them!

However, as you can imagine, creating skincare products in my kitchen was not sustainable. So, I decided to put my skincare production on hold and pursue getting my esthetics license.

It wasn't until I met one of my first skincare clients, Courtney, a 35-year-old woman with two young daughters who had just undergone the placement of a port in her chest for cancer treatments, that everything changed. 

In that moment, I realized I wanted to make a more profound impact on women's lives.

I knew if I could help women with skin issues and diseases restore their skin, then makeup would be the finishing touch, the icing on the cake to make them feel beautiful and complete once again. 

Because as your skin ages, whether it's compromised or not, your entire beauty routine needs to evolve, too. 

I'm thrilled to report that after 25 years in the beauty industry, I'm now able to offer you my natural skincare formulas again with a wealth of experience to back it up. 

With the help of my Italian partner, Alex, we infuse all of our butters with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) from our family farm in Italy.
