My Favorite Beauty Smoothies That Help You Glow From the Inside Out
Posted by Jentri Quinn on Aug 20th 2026
Ciao, Beautiful!
I love a beauty ritual that feels good, tastes good, and doesn’t require overthinking.
And while no smoothie is going to magically erase fine lines overnight, thank goodness we’re past that kind of beauty marketing. It feels so good to know that what we put in our bodies absolutely can support how our skin looks and feels over time.
Especially after 40, when skin can start to feel drier, thinner, duller, or just a little less like itself, I love finding simple ways to add more protein, healthy fats, hydration, antioxidants, and skin-loving nutrients into my day.
That’s why I love a good smoothie. It’s cool, refreshing, easy to make, and honestly, it gives me something healthy to look forward to!
Here are a few of our favorite beauty smoothie recipes to help support your glow from the inside out.
The After Glow Smoothie
This is my current favorite when I want something creamy, refreshing, and satisfying.
I created this when I wanted to consume more protein and get a lot of fruits into my diet that I wasn't eating naturally. As a bonus, wild blueberries are a super food (I get mine from Costco to save money)!!
It tastes like a treat, but it also gives you protein, antioxidants, and a little healthy fat to help keep you full.
Ingredients:
-
1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
-
1 cup ice (less if you want it thinner)
-
1 scoop vanilla or flavorless protein powder (I like Jocko, Just Ingredients and Levels Grass Fed Whey)
-
1 tablespoon peanut butter (no sugar or added oils & use Almond Butter if you're allergic to peanuts)
-
Approx 1/2 cup wild blueberries
-
1 date
-
1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional but adds creamines)
Blend until smooth and creamy.
This one is around 400 calories, depending on your protein powder and whether you add the peanut butter, and it tastes delicious.
Pro tip: If you add more ice it'll thicken up and you can eat it like a dessert! And you can another date for extra sweetness!
I love it because it feels like a small act of care in the middle of a busy day... something cool, pretty, nourishing, and easy!
Green & Clean Beauty Smoothie (Vegan)
This one is fresh, simple, and full of green goodness!
Ingredients:
-
1/2 avocado
-
1/4 cup cucumber
-
Small bunch of kale
-
1 cup almond milk
-
2 pitted dates (use less dates if you want lower sugar content)
Blend until smooth.
The avocado gives it creaminess and healthy fat, while the cucumber and greens make it feel fresh and light. It’s a great option when your skin or body is craving something a little more clean and calming.
Glow & Go Beauty Smoothie (Vegan)
This is a soft, refreshing smoothie with a naturally sweet flavor.
This one's extra special to me because it was the very first smoothie Alex ever made for me to drink on my way to work about 11 years ago. And somehow, that makes it taste even sweeter!
Ingredients:
-
1 cup cashew yogurt
-
1 cup fresh spinach
-
1/2 tablespoon honey
-
1 1/2 cups honeydew melon
Blend and enjoy.
This one feels light, hydrating, and easy to drink. The honeydew gives it that cool, spa-like freshness, and the spinach sneaks in a little extra green without taking over the flavor.
Very Berry Beauty Smoothie Dessert (Vegan Option)
This one is a great dessert alternative when you want something sweet but still want to feel good about it. (And if you like the Costco smoothies, this just may be the healthier alternative you need in your life!)
Ingredients:
-
4 pitted dates
-
1/2 to 2/3 cup organic blueberries or mixed berries (frozen)
-
1 cup almond milk (use milk option you want and a scoop of yogurt for extra creaminess, if desired)
Blend until creamy.
The dates make it naturally sweet, while the berries give it that pretty, antioxidant-rich beauty boost. If you like spirulina, you can add a little for an immune boost, but it’s completely optional!
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that healthy routines work better when they feel like something you get to do, not something you have to do.
You don’t have to overhaul your entire life to start feeling better in your skin... sometimes it simply starts with one small thing!
The more you know, the more you glow!
xoxo
