Exfoliation: Over time, dead skin cells can build up, creating a dull appearance. Gentle exfoliation, 2-3 times a week, removes these cells, revealing brighter, smoother looking skin.

Hydration: As we age, our skin naturally loses moisture. Think of a plump, juicy grape turning into a raisin – not exactly what we're doing for when it comes to our skin! Hydrating serums and moisturizers, packed with hyaluronic acid, aloe or glycerin, are your new best friends.They'll plump up your skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Bonus tip! Use your face oil as the last step inside of your skincare routine (when not using sunscreen) to help lock in the hydration from your serum(s) and moisturizer and prevent water loss! 

Retinol: This powerhouse ingredient helps boost collagen production, which gives your skin that youthful bounce. Apply a pea-sized amount at night for best results. Think of it as a magic potion that rewinds time while you sleep!

Beyond topical skincare products, your lifestyle matters. 

Sleep: We all know beauty sleep is a real thing! Aim for 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night, when possible. When you're well-rested, your skin has time to repair and regenerate, leaving you with a radiant, healthy glow.

Stress: Chronic stress wreaks havoc on your skin. Find healthy ways to de-stress, like yoga, meditation, or spending time in nature (I enjoy walking every day for 25 minutes in my neighborhood when possible)! When you feel calm and centered, it shows on your face!

Water:  Drinking plenty of water throughout the day keeps your skin hydrated from the inside out (most non-alcoholic drinks count)!  Think of it as a natural internal spa treatment!

Bonus tip: It's so simple, but try finding and using a water thermos you LOVE because I notice that when I do this I use it more! 

Facial Massage:  Give yourself a mini spa treatment with a simple facial massage! Use a gentle oil and apply light pressure in circular motions, starting from your forehead and working your way down your face. This not only feels amazing, but it helps stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage, leaving your skin looking brighter and more toned.
