Is Stress Making You Look Older? Here's How to Stop It (Before It's Too Late)!

Hey Beautiful!

If you feel like stress is making you look older than you are, you're not alone.

Stress will show up on your face quicker than almost anything else!

So today, I'm going to spill the tea on how you can lessen the appearance of wrinkles naturally.

These tips are easy, free and best part is - THEY ACTUALLY WORK.

I've combined a few of my favorite acupressure points, face exercises and massages to help elevate your existing routine by smoothing out the appearance of wrinkles, reducing muscle tension & increasing blood flow for a healthy, natural glow!

But first, let's find out how and why they work so well:

Acupressure: This ancient practice targets specific pressure points on your face believed to stimulate blood circulation, reduce puffiness, and promote lymphatic drainage.

A 2018 study published in the International Journal of Dermatology found that facial acupressure, when combined with skincare, led to significant improvements in wrinkle reduction and skin elasticity.

How it Works: Think of acupressure as a mini-workout for your face. By applying gentle pressure to specific points, you can help:

  • Reduce puffiness and dark circles: Focus on points near the brows and inner corners of your eyes.
  • Smooth fine lines: Target points between your brows and around your mouth.
  • Promote a youthful glow: Press points on your forehead and cheeks to boost circulation.

Facial Massage: This relaxing technique goes beyond pampering.

A 2014 study in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine demonstrated that facial massage improved skin tone, elasticity, and even reduced the appearance of wrinkles.

The Benefits: Regular facial massage can:

  • Increase blood flow: Delivering vital nutrients to your skin cells for a healthier look.
  • Reduce muscle tension: Leading to a smoother, more relaxed appearance.
  • Promote lymphatic drainage: Helping to eliminate toxins and reduce puffiness.

Facial Exercises: Just like any other muscle, your facial muscles can benefit from exercise. Specific movements can help tone and sculpt your face, reducing the appearance of sagging and wrinkles.

Like anything eyes you use or do, consistency will give you the best results and realistic expectations are important!

The Power of Repetition: Studies haven't definitively proven the wrinkle-reducing effects of facial exercises, but many users report a more defined and toned appearance.

Think of these practices as preventative care.

I do these for a few minutes every day and I'm in my late 40's.  I haven't had any work done or fillers. I've simply been massaging wrinkles out of my face for the last decade!

There's no right or wrong order to do them in.

I do, however, recommend using your favorite high quality facial oil while practicing these techniques so that you don't pull or tug at your skin.

Just make sure that you're massaging away from your face.

I recommend doing what feels good, being patient with the process, and incorporating a few of these healthy tips at least once a day!

I hope you enjoy what I've put together for you here:
